Mulching
 Because the cutting element is completely encased, the rotation of the cutting element forms a vacuum within the Safe Sheild. This vacuum induces a mulching action of all vegetation being cut.

Mulching occurs only on curved shaft models. On straight shaft models, the front guard is used for protection purposes only.

 Helpful Hints

1) Open front guard when advancing string

2) Place 100 grit sandpaper between the mounting bracket and shaft with the grit side on the shaft. This gives a stronger grip and reduces heat on mounting bracket.

3) When mulching tall vegetation, use downward strokes.
